RAI$E – The UB VIP Program
For my next entry, I’d like to provide details on RAI$E, the VIP pogram at UB. I’ve already written that you are provided Status Points to clear your UB bonus, but you’ll also receive so much more than that because of the RAI$E program. As an overview, the VIP program has five levels and the higher you go, the more benefits you receive. UB automatically makes you a member of the program when you sign up with the site.
You start at Level 1 as an Ultimate Member. Ultimate Members receive some benefits such as a periodic reload UB bonus and entries to freerolls. You’ll also have the option to refer a friend to the site and earn an additional $75 bonus. These little extras are nice for doing nothing, but you should definitely increase your level as fast as you can because you’re missing out on a lot by just being an Ultimate Member.
You just need to earn 50 Status Points in one month to become an Ultimate Player. Level 2 allows you to keep going with the Level 1 benefits such as the refer-a-friend UB bonus, but then you get a few extras. For the first thing, you are offered an UltimatePoints multiplier that increases the Status Points you get by two so that you can accumulate points faster. What can you do with all these extra points? Spend them at the UltimatePoints Store of course! Even more points can be earned by playing in special UltimatePoints tournaments.
At Level 3 and 500 Status Points, you are an Ultimate Contender, and you can receive up to $50 cash per month for Points. You also receive an UltimatePoints multiplier of three and access to special merchandise in the store.
The next level, Ultimate Legend, is earned when you collect 2,500 Status Points in one month. You must see a lot of poker hands to reach this level, but because the benefits become so good, it’s worth it. Not only does your UltimatePoints multiplier increase to four, you get an additional 10% discount on all store merchandise. The amount of cash you can receive for Points increases from $50 to $250. Furthermore, Level 4 VIPs also get entries to exclusive freerolls, a VIP host, and even a personal concierge. Sometimes you’ll get to bid on items in a special auction or you’ll receive a special VIP treat.
And finally, at the very top, there’s the prestigious Ultimate Icon at Level 5. The qualification is 10,000 Status Points per month, but the rewards make it worth it. First off, you receive a multiplier of five for your UltimatePoints and you can redeem up to $1,000 per month for your Points. If you keep your account balance over $1,000, you will receive a 9% interest rate on the money in your account. Furthermore, UB will ask you to represent them by playing MTT poker in events around the world such as the WPT! You are required to collect an average of 10,000 Status Points over half a year before you receive the Ultimate Icon benefits, and then you are required to maintain this average to keep going at Level 5.
UB has created a VIP program to say thanks to those that play there all the time and to attract new players to make a UB download. It’s important to realize that reaching Level 5 is far from easy. If you’re a low stakes player and you decide to make it your goal to become an Ultimate Icon, you will most likely have to concentrate 100% of your playing time at UB to accumulate the needed points. Reaching Level 5 is well worth the trouble, though, if you can do it.
